AJGC&S Northern Met Tournament at Lee Park GC 9th June 2025

Winning Team Lee Park

As always, Lee Park, we're superb hosts for the Northern Met played on 2 June.

Despite global issues with Club Systems, that tested the Committee to the full, everything ran well.

The course was presented in immaculate condition, but proved a stiff test. Post match catering was excellent, old friendships renewed and new ones made.  

Managing to get the better of the course were mens singles runners up,

Dan Harris (Moor Allerton) 38 points and Winner the Lee Park Captain Ron McGrath  39 points. Ladies singles winner Sharon Gleek, 30 points, pipped fellow Moor Allerton team mate Chris Russell on a CPO.

Overall runners up, taking the  the Moor Allerton Trophy, was Whitefield with huge congratulations to Lee Park whose 6 men & 3 Ladies were Overall winners of the Lord Bellwin Trophy.
